Created by members of the Handweavers & Spinners Guild of Victoria, these one-of-a-kind wool felted vessels will be on display and available for purchase at the Woman of Wool Luncheon.

Mary Knox of New Zealand and author of New Zealand Spinning Wheels and their Makers has produced a directory on Australian spinning wheels with photos and a bit of history on each maker. It’s still a work in progress, but you are invited to submit additional photos and information to continue development of this wonderful resource.
Just a reminder that Woolcraft Competition Entries close at 4:30 p.m. on Friday 15 June 2012. Please do not send exhibits with entry.

Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) is sponsoring a nation-wide competition to highlight the stories within every bale of Australian wool. The competition is now open to anyone involved in the wool industry, including woolcrafters. A total of nine winners will be selected with a Grand Prize trip for two to London, Shanghai, Beijing, New York or New Delhi!
Choose one of four categories, write a short story and take some photographs or make a short video.
