The 2012 Australian Sheep and Wool Show is over and what a success it was on all counts. 2012 marked the 40th year of the inclusion of Woolcraft in the Show and one could see by looking just how much people have learnt over the years. Thank you those who contributed their old exhibits, ribbons and prizes. The quality of the exhibits in the 2012 competition proved that there are some amazingly talented people in Australia and New Zealand. Congratulations to all the judges for their time, patience and diligence and all exhibitors for producing such wonderful entries. Thank you to all the sponsors for without them there would not be a show.
Check out the catalogue for the 2012 Woolcraft results! Congratulations to all!
Want a behind the scenes look, check out the ABC Open Whadyaknow: how to dress a window with Graham Bennetts. Graham has been window dressing for Woolcraft since the early 1980s when the Show was held at the Melbourne Showgrounds. He missed a few years before he started in Bendigo but as he says, “time flies when you are having fun.”

The Woolcraft committee would like to commend the judges and stewards who participated in this year’s judging. The competition entries were of an incredibly high standard! We greatly appreciate the interest and patience displayed throughout the dedicated process that lasted up to 6 hours. We hope the new judges will join us again next year for another rewarding experience!
