Hello.
A question in regard to an entry in the Woolcraft section. Would a 3D piece using knitting or weaving or embroidery or felting or combinations of techniques and supported with a fine wire or wood armature be accepted into a category ?
Kind regards
Hi,
3D pieces are most acceptable as long as they comply with the schedule. Please read the glossary of terms very carefully to chose the correct clas. It is advisable to include a ‘storyboard’ , see glossary or terms, to explain to the judges your thought processes, materials used etc etc.In previous years there have been many 3d pieces one of which is featured on the front of the 2012 schedule.
